Saint Stephens Basilica Dome
This is the wonderful dome of the Saint Stephen's Basilica in Budapest, Hungary's capital. In Hungarian it is called the Szent István-bazilik and is named in honour of Stephen (István), the first King of Hungary (c 975–1038) and christian, whose crown has been sent from Rome. His mummified fist is housed in the reliquary of the church. It is also the tallest building in Budapest, with 96 meters high. A frescoe of God the Father dominates the center of the cupola.
