Electrabel and the European Wind Energy Association installed a Wind Turbine in the middle of the Schuman place in Brussels to celebrate the European Wind Energy day. This is the first time a wind turbine is erected inside a city ! Even if that specific turbine wasn't quite big (only 25m and approx 0.05 MW, the biggest ones reach 10 MW and about 90m towers with 50m blades...) it's still impressive to see such a device in front of the European Parliament and the Berlaymont.
