These are the remains of a castle and village set atop a rocky outcrop in southern France, not far from Arles. Traces of habitation have been found dating back as far as 6000 years before Christ, and the site was used by the Celts as a hill fort (oppidum). Currently only a small village remains on this cliff living from touristic activities ...
